North East ISD welcomes military families who have been transferred to a local military installation. Any parent or guardian who is an active-duty member of the armed forces of the United States, or are part of the reserve armed forces, may establish residence and enroll children in North East ISD.

Simply provide a copy of a military order requiring your transfer to a military installation in or adjacent to the district’s attendance zone. The parent or guardian has up to 90 days of the arrival date specified in the order to provide North East ISD with proof of residence.

S2S Campus Sponsor & Campus Military Liaison

Student 2 Student (S2S) is a student-led organization at Wood Middle School dedicated to welcoming new students and easing their transition to our campus. We provide essential connections through school tours, lunch buddies, and opportunities to engage with the local community.

Beyond orientation, our members enjoy supporting the school through service projects and hosting the "Purple Up" table every Friday—a friendly space for all students to meet and connect. Our mission is to boost confidence and foster a positive environment for every student joining our school family.

Campus-Based Military Liaisons serve as the primary point of contact for military-connected students and their families throughout the enrollment and exit process. They are responsible for ensuring a smooth transition as well as providing access to supports and resources throughout the student’s stay in NEISD.
